Booking, Accommodation and Payment Terms

  • Bookings can be made over the phone +420 732 441 464, by email info@hostelkominik.cz or using the booking form on this website.
  • Your booking will be confirmed within 24 hours after request.
  • We do not request payments in advance. You will pay in cash at the reception desk of the hostel upon arrival. Please note that credit card payments are not possible at the reception!
  • Bank transfer payments to our account are possible upon request. If requested, the reception will contact you by email, sending you the account number, due date, and the variable number of the payment.
  • Opening hours of the hostel are Monday – Sunday 8.00 am – 10.00 pm.
  • Check-out time is 11.00 am.

 

Accommodation Terms valid from 1. 8. 2014

  • The hostel will only provide accommodation to properly checked-in customers. Upon check-in a valid identity card, passport, or other valid identity document will be requested by reception staff.
  • The hostel reserves the right, under exceptional circumstances, to offer other than the booked room, which shall not substantially differ from the confirmed order.
  • Based on confirmed booking, the guest can check in from 2.00 pm till 10 pm, until which time, the room remains booked, if not specified otherwise in the booking.
  • Should a guest wish to prolong the stay, a staff member of the hostel can offer him a different room, than the one he was originally accommodated in.
  • The hostel is responsible for any damage of left luggage or belongings, only if they were handed in to a staff member for the purpose of depository.
  • The hostel is fully responsible for jewelery, money, and other valuables, only in the case they were taken for deposit by a staff member, or if the damage was caused by a staff member.
  • The right to compensation has to be demanded in the hostel, without further delays, the last day of the stay at the latest.
  • The guest has the right to use the room for the agreed period of time. If there were no other prior modifications to the booking, the guest must check out no later than at 11.00 am of the last day of the stay and must leave the room until that time. In case the hostel has another booking for the same room and the guest does not react to the request, or is not present in the hostel, the hostel reserves the right to write a list and to remove the belongings of the guest, at the presence of two members of staff, and store them in a safe place, so that the next guest can use the room.
  • The guests must not remove, displace or manipulate the equipment of the rooms (furniture), without prior consent of the staff. They must not modify the electricity network or other installations.
  • It is not allowed to use your own electrical appliances in the hostel, especially in the rooms. This excludes electrical appliances for personal hygiene (shaving or massage machines, hair dryers etc.).
  • A staff member can arrange medical treatment or transport to the hospital in case of illness or injury of the guest.
  • The guests must turn off the water taps in the bathrooms, they must turn off the lights and lock the door.
  • For reasons of safety, it is not allowed to leave children younger than 10 years unsupervised in the rooms and on the premises of the hostel.
  • Dogs and other pets can only be taken to the premises of the hostel with the knowledge and consent of a staff member. The price will be agreed upon.
  • Night silence must be observed by the guests from 10 pm to 8 am, when guests must not disturb other clients of the hostel. In case of disturbing and not observing the requests of the staff, the stay of the guest may be canceled without refund.
  • The guests must pay for the accommodation and other services in accordance with the valid price list upon the arrival to the hostel, unless the stay has been paid for in advance by bank transfer.
  • Complaints and suggestions will be accepted by the managers of the hostel.
  • In case of damage of the hostel equipment, the guests must pay for the caused damage, unless they prove they have not caused the damage.
  • Guests are obliged to comply with these Accommodation Terms. In case of abuse, the hostel reserves the right to cancel the accommodation services before the end of the agreed period, without any further compensation.
